New electrostatic painting installation

2023 was another year for AR-CON Hellas ABEE, during which it did not stop evolving, enriching its equipment and expanding its production capabilities, while creating additional jobs.

The newest addition was the electrostatic painting installation of KIGO O.E., which is the second in a row in our facilities. This is a state-of-the-art, automatic electrostatic painting system based on the transport of metal objects to be painted via air transport. The objects are suspended in sequence and conveyed to the chemical pre-treatment chamber and, after all the cleaning stages are completed, they enter the dryer. The objects are then directed to the electrostatic painting booth, which is equipped with automatic painting robots. After the objects have been coated with electrostatic painting powder, they enter the oven for the polymerisation process and the process is completed.

The monocyclone included in the installation enables the powder to be recirculated, thus allowing for a recovery of approximately 95% of the powder. Through the monocyclone, the smaller powder particles end up in the absorber, where they are filtered, thus ensuring clean and filtered exhaust air and, consequently, a healthy working environment.

With the automatic transfer system reaching the speed of 1.5 m/minute, AR-CON Hellas ABEE has expanded its production capabilities and sets the basis for even greater goals in the future.
